Rawdat-al-Atfaal Evenings
About the Program
Local Hifz Al-Quran program for children (7years to 13 years) of Houston residents, conducted everyday from 5PM to 7:30PM, offered only in-person. The objective of the program is to build a foundation for the child and engender Mohabbat for Hifz Al-Quran. Students are required to be present for 1 hour to 1 and a half hours as per their daily time slot, as all Hifz activities (Murajat, Juz Hali, Jadid) will be undertaken during class time.
Program Process
- Everyday, from 5PM-7:30pm, students come to Masjid and attend tahfeez class where they complete the same 3 tiered hifz plan of murajaat, juz haali, and jadeed, and optional other tasmee objectives during the day.
- They’re progress is monitored by their muhaffiz, or main teacher, who creates actionable goals for them and makes sure they are on schedule.
- Mahad-Al-Zahra also oversees their progress to make sure weekly goals are met and forward, consistent progress is being made.

Admissions for Rawdat al-Atfaal Evening
Application will be reviewed by program administrators and approved accordingly. There is no formal interview process. Mahad-Al-Zahra will not provide meals, transportation, or accommodation.
