About the Program

The Taiseer Hifz system integrates a structured evaluation process with a time-limit, guiding students to efficiently memorize the entire Qur’an while maintaining required standards of memorization and recitation. The focus remains on strong retention through regular tasmee and periodic revalidation.

Where does the student start?

Previously Cleared Marahil:

If the student has already passed an Ikhtebaar for any Juz, those Juz are considered cleared.
The student will continue from the next unmemorized Juz, without repeating the cleared ones.

Already Memorized Juz:

If certain Juz have been memorized and tasmee has been performed in any of the Mahad al-Zahra certified programs with valid entries in elearningquran portal, stage 1 for those Juz is considered complete.
The student will only need to complete Stage 2 for these Juz.

About the Program

Stage 1: Tilawat and Memorization

Tilawat Practice: The student begins with tilawat of a Juz. Student must recite the complete juz before starting memorization of that particular juz. Once the Muhaffiz is satisfied with student’s pronunciations and ahkaam al-tajweed, memorization starts. (If Muhaffiz is not satisfied, student must recite the juz multiple times before starting memorization)

Memorization: Student can do hifz of upto one page daily in this stage.
Talaqqi for next day: Student must recite the whole next day portion in front of Muhaffiz so that any errors are eliminated beforehand.
Daily Revision: The student revises one Juz daily using one of the five prescribed methods of revision.
The five revision methods are:

  1. Tasmee of the entire Juz to someone (most recommended)
  2. Revise the Juz without looking at the Mushaf
  3. Revise parts of the Juz without looking at the Mushaf
  4. Recite the Juz (while one can listen to his own voice) while looking at the Mushaf
  5. Listen to a recording of the Juz (least recommended)

Student must perform tasmee of at least 5 pages from the revised Juz in front of Muhaffiz either from stage 1 or stage 2. Quantity of tasmee for each marhala is listed below.
Marhala 1         5 pages
Marhala 2        5 pages
Marhala 3        5 pages
Marhala 4        7 pages
Marhala 5        7 pages
Marhala 6        10 pages
Marhala 7        10 pages
Marhala Nihaai – 10 pages

Student must NOT appear for Ikhtibar of these pages, rather he/she must perform tasmee of all the pages in front of his Muhaffiz. Muhaffiz must guide the student about which pages he/she must perform tasmee of based on the days passed and retention health of the pages.

It is strongly advised that if the student is using one the less recommended methods of revision, he/she must periodically shift to the recommended methods (namely method 1 and 2) so that his/her retention does not decrease over the period and his revalidation can be performed with least effort.
Transition to Stage 2: Once the Juz is fully memorized, the student moves to Stage 2.

Stage 2: Hifz Evaluation Separate Muhaffiz

A different Muhaffiz will oversee Stage 2, distinct from the one in Stage 1. (This is a mandatory requirement)

Tasmee Requirements: The student must complete at least one page of tasmee in one sitting, with the option of doing tasmee of upto 5 pages in a day. Student can perform tasmee in multiple sittings on a single day, each sitting comprising of at least one page. If the Muhaffiz is not satisfied with a) hfiz b) makharij (pronunciations) c) ahkaam al-tajweed, or one of these aspects he may choose NOT to revalidate the page and student must comply with the instructions given by the Muhaffiz for better results. It is the core responsibility of the Stage 2 Muhaffiz to ensure that the student is proceeding properly in his/her hifz journey as there are no additional checks.

30-Day Rule: Tasmee of all the pages in a Juz must be completed within 30 days. If more than 30 days pass for any earlier pages, those pages must be recited again to ensure all tasmee pages fall within the 30-day cycle.

Completion and Certification

Digital Certification: Upon successful completion of Stage 2 for each Juz, a digital certificate is awarded.
Progression: After completing Stage 2 for one Juz, the student begins Stage 1 for the next Juz.

Time Limit for Hifz in Taiseer

Revalidation of all the pages must be performed within at least 720 days, which will promote consistent progress and reinforce retention. It is recommended that revision is performed in such a way that less time is needed for revalidation of pages. There are 3 levels of duration. 180 days, 360 days and 720 days. Lesser the time for revalidation higher the awarded certificate.

Tasmee and Revalidation of Pages

720-Day Rule: All pages of the Qur’an must be recited from memory within 720 days. Pages completed after this period must be revalidated through tasmee to ensure every page is recited within the 720-day cycle.

Revalidation Process:

The student may select any Juz or page for revalidation, without following a specific order.
Once tasmee for a page is completed, it is considered revalidated, and the day count for that page resets.
Revalidation must be performed entirely from the memory. If the Muhaffiz is not satisfied with a) hfiz b) makharij (pronunciations) c) ahkaam al-tajweed, or one of these aspects he may choose NOT to revalidate the page and student must comply with the instructions given by the Muhaffiz for better results.

Muhaffiz’s Role

Separate Muhaffiz for Stages 1 and 2 will monitor the student’s progress, ensuring proper tilawat, revision, and timely tasmee.
They will confirm that students achieve mastery in both memorization and recitation before advancing.
Muhaffiz is the core component in the Taiseer Program. As there are no additional checks and ikhtibaraat, Muhaffiz bears the sole responsibility of validating all the aspects of Hifz al-Quran for a particular student, ensuring that he/she is at a certain level during his/her hifz journey and he/she will continue to do so after he/she has been awarded with Shahadat Hifz al-Quran till the end of his/her life.

TESTIMONIALS

"After I switched to Tayseer, my hifz progress increased a lot. I just felt better in the morning hifz sessions, and I had no stress during my time.
